In Place of Self was Buffalo State Photography’s first outside artist show in almost 10 years. As a research assistant I was tasked with creating a set of invitations and brand identity. Given the subject matter it was essential that the work be the focus. Although I did want to be sure that the text and the message itself broke across the plane and began to intrigue viewers.
